The low-temperature (1.5V heating) is used to detect carbon monoxide by high-temperature cycle detection method. The conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the air, and the high-temperature (5.0V heating) cleans the stray gas adsorbed at low temperature. A simple circuit can be used to convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration. The MQ-7 gas sensor is highly sensitive to carbon monoxide. This sensor can detect a variety of carbon monoxide-containing gases and is a low-cost sensor for a variety of applications.
